I went in with a very unconventional style in mind, one that Karen admitted she had never done before- and yet she pulled it off perfectly! I really appreciated how friendly and honest she was. She advised me against bleaching my hair in its current state instead of taking the money and leaving my strands fried like some people wouldve done. In all, I would definitely recommend this business! Thank you again. :)

Trendsetters is a hidden jewel. Karen does exceptional work. She is very professional and listens to what you want, makes great suggestions and can do anything with your hair. After receiving less than professional services from a previous salon who I recently had an appointment with, I called Trendsetters and spoke to the owner and advised her of my situation and that I was in dire straits due to somebody else's previous screw up. The owner showed such compassion and was able to get me in the next day to fix what somebody else had done and not only fix it, but make it the best ending result and experience I've had in a long time. I am very pleased with not only the outcome & look, but also her compassion to my needs. My hair looks great ! :)

I wish I would have known about this place years ago! I have had my hair highlighted at several places in Jackson and it always turned out yellow or orange looking instead of platinum. I just couldn't find the right stylist, to do the job correct until now! Karen was absolutely amazing. She listened to what I wanted done with my hair and it TURNED OUT just as I wanted! She was professional, knowledgeable, and best of all experienced! She had my hair done in less than 2 hours when in the past I would sit in salons half the day and get less than ideal results. I have already scheduled my next appointment with her because I will be going back this summer for touchups! Thanks for the excellent service!

I have wavy semi curly hair that's hard to cut. Karen from Trendsetters is the best. When she's done with my hair, I can curl, straighten, or wash-n-go and the color lasts awhile keeping my grays covered. I would definitely recommend this salon. The hairstylists listen to their clients and you can't beat the price.
